FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thermostats used for control of coolant flow in internal combustion engines. There are considered various control systems of coolant flow on some amount of cooling lines by means of wax thermostat. In one embodiment, the thermostat comprises at least one wax actuator which mediates coolant flow between two inlet channels and three outlet channels depending on the longitudinal position which varies when the temperature of the coolant changes.
EFFECT: invention ensures self-control of coolant flow between engine channels.
