GLASSES WITH ELECTRONIC CHANGE OF FOCUS FOR VEHICLE DRIVERS (OEIF) Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC G02C7/10 A61F9/02

Abstract RU 2578516 C2

FIELD: optics.

SUBSTANCE: glasses have optically transparent lens from optically transparent dielectric polymer with a given refraction index, between which is enclosed liquid crystal film, and surfaces contain electrodes in form of optically transparent electroconductive film, device of changing focal distance of lens and a power supply. Glasses comprise additional installed in holder control signal receiver and a control voltage. Vehicle is fitted with transmitting device and system for monitoring direction of gaze driver - eye tracker, which comprises adjustable unit for storing directions of gaze of driver - zones for which eye tracker by transmitter generates control signal to receiver points corresponding signal to change focus lenses of eyeglasses.

EFFECT: technical result is improved traffic safety and ease of control for drivers using said glasses when driving.
