FIELD: optics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices with manual or automatic change of focal distance of lenses of eyeglasses, wherein controlled liquid-crystal films are used to change focus of lenses. Eyeglasses with length-calibrated bridge include frames of glass lenses, ear arms, bridge connecting frames of glass lenses, nasal stops, optically transparent lenses, and at least one liquid-crystal film. Surfaces contain electrodes. Glasses with length-calibrated bridge (GCB) contain a set of length-calibrated bridges. Frames of glass lenses are made separate and connected to each other by flexible conductor cord made so that distance between frames of glass lenses is changeable in accordance with length of calibrated bridge. When selecting required length of calibrated bridge, it is attached to each of frames of glass lenses by fastener, rigidly connecting frames of glass lenses to each other. Length of calibrated bridge therein conforms to formula Ln=Lo+k*ΔL, where Ln is length of bridge, Lo is minimum length of bridge, k=0, 1, 2, … N, ΔL is elongation increment of every successive length-calibrated bridge in set. Besides, length-calibrated bridge is made hollow, and is assembled either of segments, or solid, and comprises slot or slit, wherethrough flexible conductor cord is introduced inside cavity of length-calibrated bridge. Length-calibrated bridge comprises plug for slot or slit. Nasal stops are attached to length-calibrated bridge. Nasal stops are attached to length-calibrated bridge asymmetrically. Length-calibrated bridge has guides for its installation in specified position and lock.

EFFECT: technical result is broader functional capabilities.
