SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method and device for preparation of food products using coals. In grill 1 wood is burnt, layer 3 of coals and placed on wall barbecue skewers 9 with product 8 for radiation coming from coal. Residues of unburnt wood is burnt on grid 5, resulting in their combustion products and outgoing from radiation heated chargrill outside, not letting chilling layer 3 of coals and smoke passing through gas ducts 2, acts on prepared product 8, thus providing it with its aroma.

EFFECT: shorter time for preparation of product, improved taste properties and ease of production, as well as simplified design.
