FIELD: heating.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for heat treatment of food, including positioning skewers with the product over smouldering charcoals in the skewer sockets of the grill body, parallel to each other and configured to rotate around thee longitudinal axes thereof; covering the skewers with a lid for the duration of heat treatment; making ventilation holes in the lower part of the grill body for the access of air to the charcoals. The body is made of two inclined walls connected at an angle of primarily 90 degrees in the lower part, and two triangular end walls, in the lower part whereof a pipe of a predominantly square cross section is located, protruding outward, wherein holes are made along the entire length thereof for the supply of air to the charcoals through said holes when igniting the grill with an open lid; wherein said pipe is covered with lids at both ends in the process of heat treatment of the food, and a lid without holes with the edges bent downward is placed over the skewers on stops at a distance of 2 to 10 cm from the treated product.

EFFECT: proposed method for heat treatment of food provides optimal conditions for cooking the food, reduces the time of cooking the food, improves the taste qualities thereof, and raises the convenience of cooking.
