FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: multibeam X-ray tube (1) for scanning a fixed object (13) in crossing directions with a static position thereof, comprises, mounted in a grounded housing (2): a rotating anode (3) on the flat surface of which there is a flat annular target (4); a system (5) of electron sources placed over the surface of the target (4) and comprising N electron sources (10) for emitting N streams (17) of electrons having a circular cross-section, a control electrode (22) for converting the N streams (17) of electrons into N configured streams (23) of electrons which form, on the working surface (4a) of the target (4) N X-ray sources (12) in the form of narrow figures, close to rectangular, extended in the direction of an exit window (6) and converging at one point on the exit window; fixed collimators (27) for collecting radiation on the entire area of the X-ray source (12) in the direction of the exit window (6) and forming an X-ray beam (30) with a pyramidal shape, which covers the region of X-ray radiation, having the highest energy density in the beam, interfaced with the upper (6a) and lower (6c) sides of the rectangle of the exit window (6) and having a rectangular base (30a), which covers the region (13) of the object to be scanned.

EFFECT: enabling, in a fixed multibeam X-ray tube, the generation and output of discrete X-ray beams in crossing directions, which cover a fixed scanning object and having high energy density required for the tomographic analysis of the scanned object.
