FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: radiator is made as a glass cylinder consisting of a cylinder with a section of any chosen shape and two glass plates glued vacuum-tightly with a fusible glass to the ends of the cylinder. A microchannel element (MCE) is glued into the window of the cylinder wall, to which the foil of the light material is glued on the outside. Inside the container, the target-anode is designed as a mini-plate of the refractory material suspended near the end of the MCE or a film of the selected conductive material deposited on the end of the MCE oblique to the axis in the direction of the cathode. The cathode is made as an auto-emission chip with a film microstructure. The electronic flux controlling electrode is made in the form of a fine-grained mesh located in the immediate vicinity of the cathode.
EFFECT: reduction of the dimensions of the device using the claimed radiator, reduction of the X-ray losses; reduction of the electrical loads on the anode and cathode, and increase in durability and stability of the device; expansion of the functionality of the device due to the power and frequency control of X-ray radiation in a wide range.
