FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: wound patch applicable in a vacuum therapy of wound comprises a first flexible film and a pocket substantially open towards the wound patch centre. The first flexible film has a first and second side. The first side is applicable on the wound bottom. The first film additionally has an opening. The pocket is formed on that side of the wound patch, which faces from the wound when in use, and facilitates an uniform application and smoothing down of the wound patch on the wound bottom. No permeable aid of a flexible elastomeric material of a thickness extent (H) of no more than 30 mm and having a through cavity is provided on the second side of the first film. A device applicable in the vacuum therapy of wounds comprises the above wound patch, an air-tight coating to cover and surround the wound air-tightly and a layer applied on the air-tight coating on the side facing from the wound to provide a functional connection of the wound cavity and a vacuum source outside the coating material so as to enable vacuum generation in the wound cavity and pump-off from the wound cavity. A surgical instrument for application of the above wound patch comprises a tip configured as a spatula and insertable into the pocket of the wound patch. The instrument is made of a flexible plastic material and additionally comprises a radio-opaque agent. A ready-to-use kit for the vacuum therapy of wounds comprises the device with the above components are provided aseptically packed.

EFFECT: considerable facilitation of the wound patch application by the user.
