SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine. An apparatus for a laser-assisted ophthalmic surgical system is applicable for implementing the method and comprises: the first imaging unit configured to form the first image of the treated eye, and a computed device configured to detect by processing the first image at least one first eye structure, determine the position and orientation of the first structure in a coordinate system connected to the above surgical system, determine the position and orientation of at least one second eye structure comprising an astigmatically deformed corneal region, in relation to the first structure, determine the position and orientation of an incision periphery which is limited by a pedicle flap and made on the eye, in the above coordinate system, taking into account the position and orientation of the first structure in the above coordinate system and the position and orientation of at least one second eye structure in relation to the first one determined as specified above with the use of a pre-set condition specifying the mutual position of the flap and astigmatically deformed corneal region.

EFFECT: using this group of inventions is expected to reduce the length of the laser system applicator installation on the eye.
