FIELD: energy.

SUBSTANCE: method is implemented by collecting of induced on lines charges on inner hub, their transfer to external concentrator connected to lightning receiver and connected via discharger with grounding. Device for protection from lightning discharge includes lightning rod connected with external concentrator connected via discharger with grounding; includes switching unit, configured to switch between two connections: internal hub with air electric circuit or inner hub with external hub. Lightning rod is composed of umbrella with central core. External and internal hubs are composed of coaxial cylinders. Switching unit is made in form of periodic automatic switch and is equipped with starting device in pre-thunder storm period by GSM module.

EFFECT: elimination of conditions for development of opposite lightning leader discharge with electric equipment, power supply system and other objects.
