FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method includes processing initial mixture, containing metal chloride, in water vapour flow at higher temperature. Sodium chloride is introduced into initial mixture. Ratio metal chloride:sodium chloride = 1÷2:1. Processing is carried out at rate of water vapour supply 40-70 ml/min and temperature 300-400°C.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain nanoultradispersive powder of metal oxide with preliminarily specified morphology at low temperatures.
