SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of long metal rolled articles. Claimed plant comprises the steel making unit (6) to produce liquid metal at the first output, rolling mill (13) of the second output, continuous casting unit (11) arranged between steel making plant and said rolling mill (13). Note also that said continuous casting unit (11) comprises at least two casing lines (21, 19), each meant for production of long articles. The first casting line is aligned with the rolling mill for feed thereto of the cast articles. The second casting line is aligned with the rolling mill with no feed thereto of metal. The plant incorporates the means (27) for simultaneous adjustment of output of the first casting line and the second casting line output subject to the difference in output of the steel making plant and the rolling mill output.
