METHOD OF PRODUCING RECTIFIED ALCOHOL Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC C12P7/06 

FIELD: alcohol industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to alcohol industry. Method of producing rectified alcohol includes distillation processes, which are carried out in operating under atmospheric pressure brew epuration-, epuration-, boiling extraction-, booster- and preliminary purification columns, and, under vacuum - in alcohol column, final purification column, and a column for boosting head- and tail fractions. Distillation-, epuration-, boiling epuration- and booster columns are heated by live steam, while preliminary purification column is cleaned by water-alcohol vapour and, additionally, by condensate of carbon dioxide separator condenser. Initial brew is heated to 85-88 °C by the heat of the heating steam condensate, while hydro selection water is heated to 95-97 °C by Luther's heat and the heat of steam condensation in the first dephlegmator of the epuration column. Ethyl alcohol is fine cleaned of impurities in the epuration and booster columns, to top plates of which hydro-selected water is supplied. Purification of alcohol from methanol, acetic aldehyde and other impurities is carried out in preliminary purification column and in operating under pressure alcohol- and final purification columns, as well as in the column column for concentration of methanol and head impurities.

EFFECT: invention allows to increase output and quality of the product and reduce power consumption for its production.
