SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical engineering, in particular to weight loss the means. A device for activating brown adipose tissue comprising: a housing adapted for placement in direct contact with the patient's body close to a depot of brown adipose tissue; and a signal generator coupled to the housing and configured to generate an electrical signal and supplying the electrical signal to the body of the patient close to the brown adipose tissue, wherein the electrical signal has a modulation signal and a carrier signal, the housing is adapted to be in continuous direct contact with the body of the patient for a predetermined amount of time, the signal generator generates an electric signal, and continuously supplies an electrical signal to the body of the patient.
EFFECT: use of the invention widens the range of tools to activate brown adipose tissue.
