SUBSTANCE: device comprises: a body having a proximal end, distal end, side wall forming an inner passage-way extending between the proximal and distal ends, and a groove in the side wall; an elongated piston with a proximal end and distal end. The distal end of the piston forms the cavity in the inner passage-way to contain the fluid; the piston is configured sliding inside the inner passage-way; a bearing element is provided at least partially in the inner passage-way and applicable at least partially for retaining a cannula; and a needle retraction component is coupled with the bearing element so that the user is able to move it selectively in relation to a part of the body. The needle retraction component can be projected from its initial position, in which at least a part of the cannula is found outside the body, into the retraced position, in which the cannula is completely surrounded by the body, and the needle retraction component is aligned within the groove in the initial and retraced positions; and the elongated piston can be projected in relation to at least a part of the bearing element to inject fluid into the cavity or eject the fluid from the cavity.
