FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to catheter kit comprising catheter and urine bag, stored in packet, where flow between catheter and urine bag is prevented during storage, but is resumed while using kit. Catheter kit comprises urinary catheter, urine bag and container. Urinary catheter has hydrophilic coating and comprises tubular element with near end and far end. Near end of tubular element of catheter is provided with holes so, that urine can get into urinary catheter. Far end of tubular element of catheter is equipped with handle for control of catheter. Urine bag is connected to handle. Reservoir is adapted for catheter storage and containing of liquid swelling medium for moistening of hydrophilic coating of catheter. Catheter kit comprises also cover, which is connected with possibility of removal to reservoir to close handle of catheter and urine bag. Catheter kit also comprises sealing means provided in handle or between cover and handle, wherein sealing configuration prevents flow between catheter and urine bag and in flow configuration flow between catheter and urine bag is possible.

EFFECT: invention prevents flow of liquid from catheter and inside urine bag before use of catheter kit.
