FIELD: electronic equipment.
SUBSTANCE: optical cable, built in steel aluminium wire, in which steel core is made from steel of high-strength zinc-plated wires with diameter of 1.0÷5.0 mm and comprises central tube made from heat-and high-strength composite material with optical fibres and hydrophobic compound. Around tube is layer of six steel zinc-plated wires and tubes with optical fibres, with simultaneous deformation of steel core with reduction of cross section area of core 1.5÷3.0 %. Steel core is coated with lubricant, resistant to action of high temperature, layer with thickness of 0.2÷0.5 mm, then is first lay of fourteen aluminium wires with diameter 1.15÷4.5 mm, second lay of fourteen aluminium wires with diameter 1.2÷5.0 m each, lays feature identical lay pitch in one direction with linear contact wires, plastically deformed outer surfaces of wires of upper lay at reduction of cross section area of wire 6÷10 %.
EFFECT: invention enables to transmit electric power at rated voltage 35 kV and higher and for optical communication via cable, while maintaining operability of optical cable for long period in overhead transmission line.
