FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the electrical equipment. Lightning protection cable with an optical communication cable, the number of optical fibers of up to 96 pieces in the module is made in two versions: from stainless steel, the first layer of nine steel zinc-coated wires, second layer is made of nine aluminum wires and from stainless steel, first layer of nine steel zinc-plated wires is plastically deformed along outer surface of layer, degree of reduction of cross section of layer 2.0÷5.5 %, the second layer is made of nine aluminum wires. At that, the first and the second layers are made with the same lay pitch, in one direction with linear contact of wires of the first and the second layers, are plastically deformed along external surfaces of wires of the second layer with degree of reduction of cross-section area 2.0÷5.5 %.
EFFECT: invention provides creation of cable with reduced weight at simultaneous preservation of operability of optical cable during long service life as part of overhead transmission line and meeting all technical requirements determining reliability of overhead line.
