FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in artificial ventilation of dead zones of deep pits. Method involves construction of main ventilation channel connecting worked-out area of pit with ambient atmosphere, gasket to congestive zones of pit additional ventilation channels, connected with main channel, creation of air flow in main channel due to source of forced or natural draft. Control over aerodynamic parameters ventilation flows is performed by adjustment of thermal depression of additional channels formed by heating elements, due to change of heat release power of heating elements and height of their installation in additional channels according to relative contamination of ventilated stagnant zones.
EFFECT: technical result of proposed solution is higher control efficiency of ventilation flows and their distribution between stagnant zones, which allows reducing materials and energy costs for ventilation of open pit.
