FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to spectrometric analysis of materials. Optical spectrometer (102) includes an adjustable space (104) for sampling, comprising two generally oppositely relative to movable side walls (106, 108) which are formed substantially from an optically transparent material, between which loaded sample to analyse, and actuator (116), mechanically connected, with one or both side walls (108) and acting in response to applied signal to command signal thereof for relative movement thereof. Spectrometer (102) also includes an optical sensor (110, 112, 114) position for detecting interference fringes generated by light energy, repeatedly overcome distance between side walls (106, 108) and to generate therefrom according to command signal.
EFFECT: invention reduces influence of mechanical wear or mechanical changes caused by temperature and/or pressure.
