SUBSTANCE: invention is related to wireless communications. The wireless communication method which is carried out at the user equipment comprises: entry into a lower state of Radio Resource Control (RRC) from a higher RRC state; implementation of a delay for the duration of waiting period after having been allocated to the current cell in service, before the search for one or more higher priority levels within a certain period of time; and search for one or more higher priority levels within said period of time after entering the lower RRC state regardless of the quality provided by the RF cell currently in service.
EFFECT: technical result is to improve the operational efficiency of wireless terminals in a wireless communication network.
