SUBSTANCE: method comprises, using the computer of a service provider, receiving a request to transfer funds from the payment card account of a sender to a recipient without a payment card account; sending, to the financial institution that issued the payment card account of the sender, a backup payment card account of the sender to the amount of the money transfer transaction; establishing the data entry of the money transfer containing a transaction identification code; providing access to the data entry for the receiving financial institution (FI); disclosing the transaction identification code to the sender; receiving, from the receiving FI, the account information of the recipient indicating the account number payment card newly issued by the receiving FI to the recipient after accessing the data entry; and providing the recipient with the transaction identification code and an identification document to the receiving FI; and initiating a payment transaction for transferring funds from the payment card account of the sender to the newly issued payment card account of the recipient.
