FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to oncology, and can be used in treating squamous cell cancer of anal canal. Method involves exposure of tumour to radiation teletherapy in a single basic dose 2 Gy, total radiation dose 50-56 Gy for 35-40 days, 5 times a week combined with chemotherapy mitomycin C in dosage of 10 mg/m2 on first day of treatment intravenously, with capecitabine. Capecitabine is used in dose of 650 mg/m2 2 times a day on days of radiation therapy orally, and paclitaxel is added in dose of 45 mg/m2 1 time a week for 5 weeks intravenously.
EFFECT: using invention enables complete tumour regression in 91 7/10 % patients with squamous cell cancer of anal canal with predominance of common T3-T4 steps and/or involvement of regional lymph nodes without application of surgical treatment.
