FIELD: medicine; oncology.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the treatment of locally advanced squamous cell carcinoma of the anal canal. The method includes radiation therapy using 3D planning with IMRT technology with 6 MeV photons in a continuous course to the pelvic area and inguinal lymph nodes PTV1 according to a 2 Gy scheme 5 times a week, up to a SOD of 50 Gy. At the second stage, PTV2 irradiation is performed on the area of the anal canal tumor, ROD = 2 Gy to SOD = 10 Gy, while taking capecitabine and oxaliplatin. Radiation therapy is performed against the background of accompanying chemotherapy according to the following scheme: intravenous infusion of oxaliplatin at a dose of 50 mg/m² in a 5% glucose solution for 2 hours on days 1, 8, 22 and 29; to apecitabine orally twice a day at a dosage of 825 mg/m ² from days 1 to 14 and from days 22 to 36.

EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to increase the effectiveness of chemoradiotherapy treatment and the quality of life of patients due to the functional preservation of the natural closure apparatus of the rectum and the moderate toxicity of treatment.
