FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices intended for thermal analysis of heat shielding coating on piston bottom and monitoring distribution of heat flows in piston bottom at rate of temperature increase of its inner surface at heating from outside, and can be used for study of efficiency of influence of thermal protective coating on piston temperature. Device for distribution of heat flows in piston bottom to estimate efficiency of heat shielding coating on it includes liquefied gas cylinder with nozzle connected via control valve with rotameter, connected by hose with Bunsen burner, which is installed under piston placed in cylinder having hole in lower part and fixed on support, on which also thermal imager is located above piston with its inner side. At that, in lower part of cylinder there is protective screen, as well as movable gate to shut off hole in cylinder.
EFFECT: proposed device allows more accurate determination of temperature of inner surface of piston bottom in all points and, consequently, increases efficiency of estimation of heat shielding coating on piston bottom.
