FIELD: test equipment.
SUBSTANCE: method of road test reliability consists in moving vehicle on bearing surface under transient conditions of motion, specified profile and bearing capacity of support surface of the standard test roads. At that, engine and transmission units loaded with positive torque from engine in mode of half-cycle of acceleration on each transmission and negative-in braking mode at failure of engine fuel supply, to reduce engine rpm to value corresponding maximum torque. Then, switching to higher gear is performed using adhesion and subsequent acceleration in mode preceding transfer to highest gear. Then in 2nd half-cycle is changed over to lower gear on same frequency in braking mode and stops automobile using standard brakes from speed of 10 km/h. Acceleration, run and cost of tests is achieved by frequency of variable modes changing.
EFFECT: acceleration and boosting of tests are achieved.
