FIELD: vehicle testing.

SUBSTANCE: road testing for the reliability of the vehicle in the mode of combined braking consists in moving the vehicle along the supporting surface. In this case, the engine and transmission units are forcibly loaded with positive torque from the engine in the acceleration half-cycle mode to maximum speed in each gear and negative - in the engine braking mode when the fuel supply is turned off until the engine shaft speed decreases to a value corresponding to the maximum torque. In the 2nd half-cycle, when the fuel supply is turned off and downshifted at the same frequency in the braking mode, the engine and transmission units are forcibly loaded with positive torque by accelerating the engine in each gear until the engine crankshaft speed increases and subsequent engine braking and stopping car.

EFFECT: increasing the intensity of the forced load by the torque of the engine and transmission units.
