FIELD: test technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method for a road test of the reliability of a vehicle with an automatic hydromechanical transmission. Method consists in moving the vehicle along the support surface in the leading unsteady mode of motion. In this case, the engine and transmission assemblies are loaded with the torque in cycles, each of which is positive from the engine and negative in the braking mode of the engine. To increase the rate of deceleration, retarder of A/T movement is used, and braking by the engine and stopping the vehicle with the help of standard service brakes at a speed of 10 km/h.
EFFECT: acceleration and boosting of tests are achieved.
