FIELD: military equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of protection against aerospace reconnaissance thermal-imaging facilities. Using object thermal contrast simulating method thermal image of simulated object against area background is recorded, recorded image is transferred to simulator, simulator thermal image is recorded with thermoelectric modules placed thereon, difference in thermal contrast between object surface elements resolved by thermal imaging equipment and corresponding thermoelectric modules is determined, and control signals for changing temperature of thermoelectric modules in accordance with obtained values are generated. Simulator corresponds to object by shape and linear dimensions. Thermoelectric modules are executed in form of plates with dimensions not exceeding local linear resolution of reconnaissance thermal imaging equipment.
EFFECT: security of weapons and military equipment against aerospace reconnaissance thermal-imaging facilities is provided.
