FIELD: military equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the reduction of the visibility of weapons and military equipment, the misleading of weapons by precision weapons, as well as securing the secrecy of weapons and military equipment from thermal imaging, electrooptical means of aerospace reconnaissance, and can be used to develop means for simulating weapons and military equipment in places and points of permanent deployment or reserve areas of dispersal, as well as the removal and disruption of the aiming of infrared homing heads from real targets. Proposed device for simulating the thermal contrast of an object from known ones differs in that sensors for registering the temperature of the background, the atmosphere and the background emission factor have been additionally introduced, a unit for converting thermal images of objects, while outputs of sensors detecting the background temperature, the atmosphere temperature and the background emission factor are connected to the first, second and third input of the thermal image transformation unit of the objects respectively, and the output of the thermal image storage unit is with the fourth input of the thermal image transformation unit of the objects, the output of which is connected to the input of the temperature control device of heat radiation sources made on the basis of Peltier elements.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention consists in the formation of a thermal contrast of the imitation device corresponding to the thermal contrast of the object to the external conditions of the functioning of the imitation device, as well as the expansion of the range of temperature variations of thermal radiation sources due to their implementation based on Peltier elements.
