FIELD: test equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas chromatography and can be used for standardisation and estimation of authenticity of various medicinal plant raw materials in medicine, pharmacology, food, perfume and other industries. Method consists in that a sample of a medicinal plant raw material is kept 40 minutes at 60°C, components of equilibrium vapour phase are analysed independently on two capillary columns with polar and nonpolar stationary phases. For each column is measured output signals of three volatile components equilibrium vapour phase (markers) with maximum content in sample, which consists of two independent "fingerprints" of analysed medicinal plant raw materials.
EFFECT: high reliability of authenticating medicinal plant raw materials.
