FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pentakis (alkylthio) derivatives of [60]fullerene of general formula 1, wherein R represents arbitrarily substituted alkyl group having from 1 to 24 carbon atoms, as thermally decomposable precursors for preparation of thin films of [60]fullerene in electronic devices. Mild conditions in present invention are considered to be temperatures in range of 140 to 180 °C. Highly soluble in present invention are considered to be derivatives of [60]fullerene soluble in organic and aqueous media, preferably in alcohols or water, particularly preferably ethanol or water.
EFFECT: object of invention is to prepare highly soluble derivatives of [60]fullerene and use thereof as precursors which can be easily converted into high-quality pure [60]fullerene under mild conditions.
