FIELD: instrument making.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of granulated. Method of producing granulated ice includes supply of water on moving seed crystals, supply of cold air vertically from below in volume of seed crystals, placing weight of seed crystals linearly on plane with inclination angle in range from 24 to 70 degrees, feeding in lower part of plane at a tangent to volume of seed crystals at a rate of flowing trapezoidal in cross section of cold air flow with temperature less than 0 degrees celcius and with ratios of average width-length from 1:2 to 1:50 and sizes of faces from 100:101 to 100:110. When rolling mass of seed crystals on slope in said seed crystals are watered in drip-jet mode.

EFFECT: use of invention allows to obtain ice granules with oval-spherical shape.
