SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway automatic control and communication. System comprises base station installed on station, station duty operator workstation with hardware-software device, differential station of satellite navigation and unit for determining distance between locomotive and yard conductor, shunting engine locomotive radio station, locomotive operator panel and yard conductor portable radio station. At that, unit for determining distance between locomotive and yard conductor includes two data generators, calculator and converter. Locomotive radio station further includes time slots input/output unit, decoder, transceiver and navigation signal receiver.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of shunting operations controlling at railway station.
