SUBSTANCE: method and device for testing radio-frequency parameters of an active antenna system are disclosed. In method an active antenna system under test is placed in a test housing for testing RF parameters, wherein housing comprises a test section of antenna array and a passive section, wherein section of antenna array and antenna-feeder section of tested active antenna systems are identical. Test method comprising: calibrating one test case; near-field communication calibration and testing of radio frequency parameters.

EFFECT: using said method and apparatus for testing radiofrequency parameters of an active antenna system, radiofrequency parameters of active antenna system can be measured directly and efficiently without an additional test interface.
