FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of recycling spent polysaccharide-containing drilling mud accumulated during construction of oil and gas wells. Method of recycling spent drilling mud containing polysaccharides, consists in separation of said solution into liquid and solid phases by enzymatic degradation of polysaccharide matrix, appearing upon adding brewer's grains in an amount of 5-50% of the weight of wastes. Note here, that after completion of enzymatic hydrolysis of polysaccharides contained in spent drilling fluid, the formed dewatered sediment is rich in organic compounds of brewer's grains which determines practicability of its further use as soil fertiliser.
EFFECT: invention provides for higher ecological compatibility and resource saving, simple and cheap method of recycling of spent polysaccharide-containing drilling mud.
