Disclosed is method of determining allowable by gas factor efficiency of cleaning machine, in which set technical efficiency of combine methane carrying coal destruction at allowable security rules methane concentration in outgoing air flow from mining face. At that, that in zone of destruction of coal mass machine additionally installed methane content and gas-dynamic index characterising connection between weight of broken coal by combine and volume extract methane, and permitted by gas factor minute machine efficiency is determined by formula jg=jt(1-k·xp), where jg is admissible by gas factor efficiency of cleaning machine, t/min; jt is technical efficiency of combine for coal mass destruction , t/min; k is gas-dynamic factor accounting for communication between weight of broken coal by combine and its methane content in zone of destruction, t/m3; xp is methane content of coal mass in area of its destruction by combine, m3/t.
EFFECT: accuracy of determining allowable by gas factor efficiency of cleaning machine.
