FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to treatment of liquid medium and mainly to measurements and control of process flow. In particular, invention relates to methods for measurement of electromagnet flow meters. Device comprises pipeline section for process flow, coil for magnetic field generation across the pipeline section, current source for exciting coil for magnetic field generation, and electrode for detection of electromotive force induced across process flow with help of magnetic field. Current source excites coil on plurality of different frequency pulses. Processor calculates function of electromotive force at plurality of different frequency pulses and generates output value of flow rate based on function.

EFFECT: technical result is improvement of flow measurement accuracy and protection against failures.
