FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of reinforced EPS heat insulator used in hardened heat-insulating panel, having structural strength sufficient for its resistance to natural disasters, such as earthquake. Granules of initial material, non-uniformly distributed according to size in range from 0.71 to 2.83 mm, are pre-foamed to produce pre-foamed particles. Pre-foamed particles fill metal mould device to mould blocks, and pre-foamed particles are foamed again under steam pressure (0.3 to 0.35 kg/cm2) at which starting material of granules having a uniform particle size form an EPS-block having a low degree of fusion with a compound for manufacture of reinforced EPS-block having a higher degree of melting of compound. Reinforced EPS-block is cut into reinforced EPS-insulator having a predetermined thickness.
EFFECT: at predetermined intervals in surface of reinforced EPS-reinforced heat insulator insulating panel is formed with grooves which are inserted in reinforcing elements in form of rods.
