FIELD: network traffic control.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of network traffic control. As a result of the simulation, estimates of the values of the quality of service parameters for a specific traffic implementation will be obtained, on the basis of which it is possible to predict the operation of any devices or systems in the future of their development. To do this, in real time, random time sequences of traffic are registered at the input port of the infocommunication network node, using analytical and simulation modeling, the possibility of implementing the collected traffic on real equipment is determined.
EFFECT: improving the quality of service for the transmission of infocommunication traffic through simulation and analytical modeling of the operation of an infocommunication network with the installation of network parameters for the operation of any network equipment.
