FIELD: instrument making.

SUBSTANCE: absorbent product comprises absorbent core (4) of shape that is extended in front-to-back direction of absorbent product. Absorbent core (4) has, in direction of its width, central area (41) and lateral side areas (45, 45), located on corresponding sides of central area. Central area (41) has projecting part (5), which protrudes above relevant top surfaces of lateral side areas. In absorbent core (4) central area (41) and lateral side areas (45) form integral part. On surface of absorbent core (3) facing to skin, multiple side recesses (44) are formed; each side recess is formed in direction of width of absorbent core and is continuous, so that it extends from central area (41) to lateral side areas (45). Lateral recess (44) is formed by reduction of surface density of materials, forming absorbent core.

EFFECT: lower part (44d) of side recess (44) in part (P1) of central area (41), adjacent to lateral side area (45), is located under upper surface (S2) of lateral side area (45).
