SUBSTANCE: according to one embodiment of the present invention a diaper (1) is provided with a sheet (2) forming the front surface, a sheet (3) forming the rear surface and a vertically long absorbent body (4) located between them. The indicators (5) are arranged continuously in the longitudinal direction between the sheet (3) forming the rear surface and the absorbent body (4). The absorbent body (4) has an absorbent core (41) comprising an absorbent polymer and a coating material (42) which covers the absorbent core (41). Convex areas (43) with a high base weight and concave areas (44) with a low base weight adjacent to the areas (43) with a high base weight are formed with their alternation in the absorbent core (41), and areas (43) with a high base weight and areas (44) with a low base weight are formed as a whole. Prominent structure, which is formed by alternative arrangement of the areas (43) with a high base weight and areas (44) with a low base weight in the direction along which the indicators (5) extend, is formed in the absorbent core (5) on the side facing the sheet (3), forming the rear surface, on which the indicators (5) are mounted.
