METHOD FOR APPLYING TENDON SUTURE Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC A61B17/00 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, particularly to traumatology and orthopedics. Using needle up to 5 % of tendon fibre is taken at 2-3 cm from damaged end of tendon. Using thread tightening loop is made, through which through tendon needle with thread is diametrically introduced, piercing it on opposite side and forming second tightening loop, also covering up to 5 % of tendon fibre. Then thread is carried out diagonally inside shaft to opposite side of tendon towards cross-linkable end, pricked needle out and suturing tendon, lead it diagonally down inside shaft to lower end edge to form distal tightening support loop in 0.5 cm from damaged end of tendon, through which thread is brought inside shaft into injured tendon end. All manipulations are repeated with second end of thread on patellar on opposite side, and set out inside shaft from injured tendon ends corresponding suture ends are tied together by knots.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to fix and adapt damaged tendon ends, distribute of load on it between formed loops without fraying and deformation in area of tendon injury.
