FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to pulmonology, and can be used for diagnosing post-load bronchospasm in patients with bronchial asthma (BA). Diagnosis is performed in patients with mild and moderate severity of bronchial asthma in attack-free period. Peak forced expiratory volume velocity is determined as a percentage of proper value (POS, in %) by means of spirography. Level of blood oxygenation (SaO2, in %) is determined by transcutaneous pulse oximetry. Left ventricular ejection fraction (PS, in %) and interventricular septum thickness at end diastole (MZPd, cm) are measured by echocardiography. Percentage content of peripheral blood eosinophils (Eos, in %) is determined using haematological analyser (in clinical blood analysis). Discriminant function (D) is calculated by formula. Boundary value D is equal to 90.40. If D is equal to or exceeds limit value, then absence of bronchial post-load syndrome is diagnosed. If D is less than limit value, presence of bronchial post-load syndrome is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method enables accurate diagnosis of bronchial post-load syndrome due to use of results of most significant methods of examination of patients with bronchial asthma.
