FIELD: laser location systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for detection of hidden stealthy ground objects (HGO) from manned or unmanned aircraft (AC). Device comprises laser locator 1, which includes optical system 2 connected through laser transceiver 3 with control unit 4 and with facility 5 of digital processing of reflected laser signals. Device 5 has modular structure on field programmable logic integrated circuits (FPLD) with parallel processing of laser 3-D signals. Principle of HGO recognising in unit 5 is based on reception of reflected from underlying surface laser response signals, formation based on laser 3-D portraits, comparing obtained maps with database 3-D standards (laser portraits standard HGO) and decision on detection of potentially dangerous HGO based on coincidence of maps with references and detection in HGO light-reflecting optics and/or active counteraction to aircraft.
EFFECT: high probability of HGO recognising coated with grid, as well as hidden under trees in forest.
