FIELD: radar ranging and radio navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar ranging techniques and can be implemented and used in aerodynamic aircraft identification systems, using along with other criteria vector distinguishing feature, called object impulse response (IR) and generated based on coherent signals processing with carrier frequency adjustment, otherwise called signals with synthesis of spectrum. Said technical result is achieved by fact that aerial object (AO) IR, generated from reflected signals with frequency adjustment, practically does not depend on frequency range Fadj adjustment displacement along frequencies scale, since when using frequency range from f0 to (f0+Fadj) or frequency range from (f0+Fadj) to (f0+2Fadj) IR generation result with other conditions permanency for any complexity AO differs insufficiently, which makes it possible to compare IR obtained at different location on frequencies scale (but equal by value) adjustment ranges between each other to establish fact of AO angular movement presence or absence in relation to radar station. With AO spatial angular fading in relation to radar station absolute IR generated by said method must coincide. In conditions of location intense change of view IR must vary significantly. With AO fading two batches of signals with frequency adjustment are proposed to connect into one and obtain higher information value IR from it.
EFFECT: higher resolution in time due to double synthesized increase in frequency adjustment range at spatial angular fading intervals.
