FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural machine building, particularly, to working members for surface treatment of soil. Set task is achieved by that rotary tiller working element having a disc with needles arranged on it, needles are made from spring steel. At end of each needle facing centre of disc there is a knee, which is inserted into an appropriate locking opening of disc. Knee at point of conjugation with rod of needle is located at right angle to its axis and at an angle 90° ≤ γ ≤ 135° to plane passing through working part of needle, and knee length exceeds thickness of disc. At same time diameter of each locking openings in disc are 0.5…1.0 mm larger than that of knee of needle. In disc periphery each needle is fixed with a clamp.

EFFECT: objective of disclosed invention is providing of self-cleaning rotary working elements from soil and plant residues combined with simple design and high technical reliability.
