FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for surface treatment of soil. Rotary working element of the tiller comprises a disc with steel needles made of spring steel. At the end of each of the needles facing the center of the disc, a bend inserted into the corresponding fixing hole of the disk is made at right angle to its axis. Fixing holes in the disc have a drop-shaped shape. Their axes of symmetry are co-directed with axes of rods of needles connecting needle bends with their working parts. On each disc volumetric retainers are fixed in pairs not less than 14 needles with diameter from 8 to 16 mm, which can be located both on one side and on both sides of the disc. On peripheral ends of needles one-side sharpening with occipital angle 16…24° is made. Peripheral sections of needles with length of not less than 50 mm, with total needle length of not less than 200 mm, are bent from radial direction for angle from 0 to 45°.
EFFECT: higher reliability due to reduction of threaded joints when fixing needles.
