FIELD: electronic equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used in operation of nickel-hydrogen accumulator batteries (AB) in autonomous power supply systems (SEP) of spacecraft (SC), operating at low Earth orbit. Said result is achieved due to that in known method for operation of nickel-hydrogen batteries of spacecraft power system, comprising cycling m AB in charge-discharge mode specified by onboard power system automation; limited extent by level of charge AB operation signal pressure sensors located in each individual battery AB; control parameters for each rechargeable battery, such as current capacitance, voltage, temperature; administered periodically once every 6-9 months for a charge prohibition of AB (ABi) for performing molding cycle (FC); is used as discharge load for molded AB board spacecraft equipment; repeating same sequence of operations for subsequent AB; SEP emergency supply of bus-controlled command control switching equipment to change its configuration; connect if necessary ABi to other healthy ZRUj, forming a “private” ABj subsystem and simultaneous disabling of this subsystem “own” ABj translated it into a “self-discharge” mode to discharge/charge time formed ABi; connecting ABi after filling up signal of pressure sensor response to a working ZRUj parallel ABj for further regular functioning of EPAs, with abnormal operation ZRU (ZRUi) associated with failure of charger, forming ABi cycle is divided arbitrarily into two phases in mode of a discharge, and carried out by regular citation battery charging (filling), which are selected intermediate value (division) level of charge ABi, corresponding, for example, half of rated capacity of molding ABi; at beginning of first phase of AB discharge mode FC is connected to its own ABi ZRUi with a faulty battery charger at same time introduced a ban ABj charge, part of module ABi; ABi during discharge to an intermediate level of charge, corresponding to start of second stage in discharge mode, AB FC lifts ban ABj charge on further discharge ABi molded to desired depth and then fill it in normal mode of cycling; then at replenishing ABi to a predetermined intermediate level ABi charge corresponding to first end (or beginning of second) in step charge mode FC, it is connected to a working ZRUj in parallel to ABj.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is to increase reliability of nickel-hydrogen battery, and also SEP survivability, including modular, without degrading its performance and spacecraft as a whole.
