FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical diagnostics and can be used to predict values hydrodynamics in patients with primary open-angle glaucoma, which are natives of central black earth region of Russia. Invention involves blood sampling, DNA recovery from peripheral venous blood, analysis of polymorphism of IGF-1 c.-1410T > C. To predict the unfavourable indices hydrodynamics at high value of true IOP and low value of coefficient of easy intraocular fluid outflow if observing the genotype CC and VEHICLE IGF-1 (rs 35767).
EFFECT: favorable indicators hydrodynamics if observing the genotype TT IGF-1 in patients with primary open-angle glaucoma.
